Free medical outreach, health screenings, and maternal & child care — bringing quality healthcare to underserved communities across Ghana.
For many families in underserved communities across Northern Ghana and beyond, essential healthcare remains out of reach. The Impala Foundation's Healthcare Programme bridges that gap by bringing medical services, health education, and wellness support directly to the people who need them most.
We run regular free medical outreach camps where community members access consultations, health screening, and referrals at no cost. Our teams focus on maternal and child health, nutrition, malaria and hygiene awareness, and support for the elderly and marginalised — the foundations of healthier, more resilient communities.
Working from Tamale and Accra out into rural districts, our approach is built on partnership: we work alongside local health workers, volunteers, and community leaders so that every outreach is trusted, welcomed, and lasting.

Regular outreach camps across Ghana offering free consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals for community members who cannot access a clinic.
On-site screening for blood pressure, blood sugar, malaria, and other common conditions — catching health problems early, when they are easiest to treat.
Supporting mothers and children with nutrition guidance, ante-natal care access, growth monitoring, and immunisation awareness for a healthy start in life.
Community education on malaria prevention, HIV/AIDS awareness, hygiene, nutrition, and mental health — empowering people to protect their own wellbeing.
Distributing essential medicines, first-aid kits, and health supplies, and training community volunteers to respond to everyday medical needs.
Clean water access and sanitation improvements that prevent water-borne disease — because good health begins with a safe, clean environment.
We work with local leaders and health workers to identify communities with the greatest need and understand the health challenges they face.
We assemble volunteer doctors, nurses, and health educators, and gather the medicines, screening equipment, and supplies each camp requires.
On the day, community members receive free consultations, screening, treatment, and referrals — plus health education they can take home.
Dedicated stations support mothers and children with nutrition advice, growth checks, and guidance on ante-natal and immunisation services.
Anyone needing further care is referred to a partner clinic or hospital, and we follow up to make sure they get the treatment they need.
Every outreach leaves behind trained community volunteers and health knowledge, so the impact continues long after our team has gone.
